I’m Brian — ASE Certified technician with a full quarter-century in the trade. I’ve worked dealership service bays, independent shops, performance shops, and mobile service. I’ve seen what works, what fails early, and what “good enough” actually costs the customer later.
BG Automotive exists because most people don’t have time to sit in a waiting room or arrange a loaner car. They need honest diagnosis, quality repair, and someone who shows up when they say they will. That’s the bar I hold myself to every day.
Based in Ojai, I cover Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties with a fully equipped mobile unit. Cars, trucks, European exotics, Teslas and other EVs, RVs, marine electrical, and the horse properties and working ranches around the Ojai Valley all get the same methodical, data-driven approach.
How I Work
Diagnose First
I don’t throw parts at codes. Full system scan, live data, component testing, and a clear root-cause explanation before any quote is written. You always know what I’m fixing and why.
Transparent Pricing
Fixed-price quotes after diagnosis. No surprises. If something additional is discovered during the job, I stop and get approval before proceeding. Period.
Right Tools, Right Parts
Professional scan tools, factory-level capability on supported platforms, quality parts (OEM or equivalent), and proper procedures. Shortcuts create comebacks — I don’t do comebacks if I can help it.
Safety First (Especially EVs)
High Voltage Safety Certified. Proper PPE, isolation procedures, and never cutting corners on high-voltage systems. Your safety and mine are non-negotiable.
