Mobile Audi Repair & Diagnostics

From A4s and Q5s to S and RS models, Audis have a handful of well-known weak spots. If you know where to look, most of them can be fixed without a trip to the dealer.

Most Audis I see use either the 2.0T four-cylinder or the 3.0T supercharged V6. Each has its own list of known problems, and the right fix depends on which engine you have and what year it is.

S tronic and quattro

S tronic transmissions need fluid service on schedule. On quattro models, the type of all-wheel-drive system depends on the car, and the smaller cars use a coupling that needs its own fluid service. I check what yours has and service it correctly.

Audi questions

My Audi uses oil between changes. Should I worry?

It depends on the engine and how much. Some 2.0T engines from around 2009 to 2011 are known for burning oil because of piston ring design. I can measure how much it's using and check whether a failed PCV valve is making it worse.

Does an S tronic transmission need service?

Yes. The dual-clutch S tronic has a fluid service interval, and skipping it leads to rough shifts and expensive repairs.

Do you work on Audi EVs like the e-tron?

For tires, brakes, 12V, suspension, and diagnosis, yes. High-voltage and warranty work goes to Audi.

Full list of what I work on: services. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM, with 24-hour emergency response for RVs.
