Rivians are heavy, powerful, and often used for exactly what they're built for, like towing, off-road trips, and long drives. Those are hard on tires, alignment, and suspension, and they mean small problems need to be caught before you're out in the middle of nowhere.

What I do on Rivians

Tire rotation, tire pressure, and checks for alignment and uneven wear
Brake inspection and service. Regen means the brakes get used less, so corrosion is often a bigger problem than worn pads.
Air suspension inspection: leaks, ride-height faults, and damage from off-road use
12V and low-voltage system diagnosis
Cabin air filter, wiper, and fluid-level service
Hitch, trailer wiring, and a full inspection before trips or towing

Being honest about the limits

Rivian controls a lot of its software and repair procedures. For warranty, recall, and software jobs, Rivian is the right place to go. For everything else, coming to your house is easier than taking the truck in.

Will using an independent shop void my Rivian warranty?

Regular maintenance and repairs done properly by an independent tech don't void a manufacturer warranty by themselves. Warranty claims, recall work, and anything that needs Rivian's own software should still go to Rivian. I'll tell you which is which.

Can you check my R1T before a camping or towing trip?

Yes. I check tires, the brakes, the suspension, the hitch and trailer wiring, and scan for stored faults before you leave town.

Do you fix the high-voltage battery?

No. I'm certified to work safely around the high-voltage system, but pack-level repairs belong with Rivian.
