Mobile Land Rover & Range Rover Repair

Range Rovers are common in Montecito, Santa Barbara, and the Conejo Valley, and so are the problems they're known for. Plenty of them can be fixed in your driveway.

Air suspension

The most common Land Rover call I get. Air springs crack with age, the compressor wears out from running too much to make up for a leak, and the valve block can stick. The usual sign is the vehicle sitting low in the morning or a suspension fault on the dash. I find the leak or the failed part with a proper test instead of just replacing the compressor.

When it needs a shop

Some Land Rover jobs, like timing chains on certain engines or engine-out repairs, really need a lift and a full shop. I'll diagnose it on site, explain what's going on, and help you decide where to have it done if it's beyond what makes sense in a driveway.

Land Rover / Range Rover questions

My Range Rover says 'Suspension fault' and is sitting low. Can you fix it at my house?

Often, yes. It's usually a leaking air spring, a worn compressor, a valve block problem, or a weak battery. Testing tells us which one before parts get ordered.

Why does my Land Rover show so many warnings at once?

These vehicles are very sensitive to low voltage. A weak battery or bad ground can set a dozen faults at once. I test the battery and charging system before chasing any of them.

Do you work on the new Defender?

Yes, for maintenance, diagnosis, and common repairs. Warranty work goes to the dealer.
